Ascension Day Service, Thursday May 9
We willl host a joint Ascension Day worship service with our sister church, St. David’s-by-the-Sea, at 7:00PM, followed by a reception. Fr. Porter will preach, Mother Cynthia will be the celebrant, and we will have a joint worship team.
Pentecost, May 19
May 19, we will commemorate Pentecost with a full day including our morning worship service at 10:00AM — remember to wear red extra points for red shoes!) Later in the afternoon, we will regather for our annual Parish celebration. We’re changing it up this year – stay tuned for more details… but there will be an “international flavor” this year…

Sunday Rector’s Forum - The Rector’s Forum will offer a wide variety of topics featuring interactive teaching and discussion, as we explore together ways to understand, articulate, and live out our identity as people of an ancient faith in our current time. 9:00AM on Sundays
Godly Play - Our discipleship for children ages three and up is centered on Godly Play, a premier children’s experiential curriculum based upon Montessori principles. Godly Play helps children explore their faith through story, gain faith language, and enhance their spiritual experience through wonder and play. Join us on Sundays at 9:00AM.
Wednesdays at CEC
Morning Prayer - Join us each Monday for Morning Prayer in Hope Chapel at 9:00AM.
Women’s Bible Study - Ladies, don’t miss out! We meet Wednesdays at 10:00AM in the Parish Hall for rich study, warm fellowship, and quite a bit of laughter!
Wednesday Evening Discipleship
Join us for our Eastertide Discipleship series and light soup supper on Wednesdays at 6:30PM in the Parish Hall. Just as the disciples were transformed by the Resurrection of Christ, we too are called to live in the light of Easter. During the six weeks of Eastertide, we will be looking at the “rest of the story” – how the Holy Spirit prepares, empowers, and equips disciples for mission and ministry. Together we will explore the ways in which Easter and Pentecost shape our lives as members of a community of faith – this is the perfect follow up to our fall Alpha Course at CEC.
Whether you are a long-time member, a new visitor, regular attender, or anything in between, this series is for you!
Mahjong Mondays
We will host only one Mahjong gathering in November – mark your calendars for Monday, November 13, at 1:00PM. Remember it’s open to newbies and experienced players. Come join old friends and meet new ones – join in the fun!
